steps for placing an order with hello ink

Business and Calling Cards

1.  

Click on designs and select a category (monograms, people, objects/icons, shapes) and choose a card you like. Then send us an email with the following information so we can get started:

  • Name, address and telephone number
  • Email address where we can send a proof for you to review
  • Shipping address if different from above
  • Text you want on the card (i.e. name, title, address, telephone, fax, email address) in the order you want it displayed
  • How many cards you would like:
    100 - $35
    200 - $50
    300 - $70
  • Other special instructions you want us to know about
  • And please let us know how you heard of hello ink!

For designs in the people, objects/icons or shapes categories, please indicate the following:

  • Design Code of the card you selected
  • The text style code (the font in which your name, address, etc. will be displayed)

For monograms please indicate the following:

  • Initial you want to use (will go in circle)
  • Monogram design code
  • The monogram font style code (the font in which your initial will be displayed in)
  • Horizontal or vertical layout

**Please note that the text on all monogram cards will be printed in text style A. Myriad and in either black or a complementary color from the design selected.

2.   Once we receive an email from you with the information above, we’ll generate a proof of your card and email it to you in PDF format within a day or two. An invoice for payment will also be emailed at this time.
3.   We'll then work with you, via email exchange, to get the exact look you want and will be happy to accomodate most requests. Once final approval is given to a proof and we receive payment in full, printing will begin.
4.   You’ll receive your cards about one week after approval is given and payment has been made.
5.   If you live in the Twin Cities, you can pick up your cards and avoid the shipping fee. Just let us know before making your payment. No refunds are given after we receive payment for this option.
     
    You may also print out an order form and mail to Hello Ink, 2515 Ulysses St. NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418.

Custom Cards and Stationery

If you are interested in a custom design or business logo, there is a design fee of $80 plus the cost of printing and shipping. The fee includes 3 design options and up to 5 "tweaks" to the final design.
